Edward Stephenson (abt. 1744-1792): Edward Jr. appears to be the third of Edward’s sons. A great, great grandson of Edward Jr.’s son James was tested. He wishes to remain anonymous, but his line has been verified and stories about Edward Jr., who was killed in a well-known attack by Native Americans, were passed down through the family. This attack was chronicled in the Draper Manuscripts as told by William Champ and as happening Aug 1792 on Paint Lick Creek in what is now Madison or Garrard Counties, KY.
